Apple Frunola

Apple Frunola is one of my favourite breakfasts. It tastes so yummy!

3 apples
3-4 figs
2 small handfuls of almonds
2 small handfuls of sultanas
Shredded Coconut

Place the almonds in a food processor and blend them. You want them blended small but not too small as you still want to crunch them when you eat. Add the figs and blend until they are mixed well with the almonds. Spoon the mixture out into a bowl and place the apples into the food processor. Blend the apples until they are in small chunks. Don't blend into mush.

Spoon the apple into the bowl with the figs and almonds, throw in the sultanas and coconut mix it all together and you have a delicious breakfast that is easy to make. This will make about one large breakfast bowl of Apple Frunola.

It tastes really nice with a light sprinkle of cinnamon over the top. You can also add bananas for an extra flavour and to bulk it out a bit.

Yum! I'll have to try this sometime. We have loads of apples at the moment.
