The Baby is Born!

I now have a new Baby Brother! He was born the day before yesterday. I love holding babies and it is even better when they are your own brother or sister. I don't get to hold him for long though someone always comes along and wants to hold him too.

Baby Names

My Mum is due to have a baby at the end of March and we can't find the right boys name. We have found girls names we like but we can't agree on any boys names. So I am holding a challenge. The winner is the one who types a name that I like and my family likes. The name has to be a Catholic saints name or be associated with a saint and it must be unusual. I'll have a poll on the sidebar of my blog of names that can be voted on. Hope you have better luck thinking up names than I have.

I've Got My License!!!!!!!!!!

I am now on my P's! Yesterday I had a driving test and I passed!!! I had already failed once due to nerves.
I drove to the fish and chip stop to pick up tea for everyone and for the first time I drove alone. Well...... unsupervised anyway, my little brother came with me.
I'm kinda still riding on a high. I've got my P's!! Yippee!!!

Buying Books

I just finished reading a heap of books. I ordered them in the holidays from Better World Books. They do free shipping world wide now which is wonderful, because usually the postage is as much as the book. I bought 11 books which seems like a lot but I had money to spend what with babysitting money and ironing money. My ironing money always goes to buy me books. I get about one book a month that way. I bought some Lori Wick's and Dee Henderson's. Two of the Dee Henderson's were her first books and I can see that she has improved as a writer. They were pretty awful. Thanks for listening to me ramble on.

Choir & Drama

Today, our homeschool group is starting on a four week workshop. Every Thursday for the next four weeks we are going to learn choir and drama. I have never learnt either before and I am so excited! The mums intend to do fun games with the little ones, like 'Five little Joeys jumping on a bed one fell off and bumped his head.' Mum sang the song this morning and Jem was so funny trying to do the actions.

Marnie's Wedding

Marnie was married last week. It was a beautiful wedding , the bride was loverly, she absloutly radiated with happiness.
My aunt Tim Tam was a bridesmaid along with one of her friends and myself. One of Marnie's best friends was her Maid of Honour.
Yoda was a page boy with another boy, Princess and Jelly Bean were flower girls, Legolas was an usher.
Timba the groom had a friend of his as best man, my uncle Cally Wally was groomsman.
